This collection of erotica is a bit darker and edgier than the earlier Best Women’s Erotica collections, with stories that deal honestly with sex in the shadow of war, drugs, and the morning after. The writing is excellent, and many of the stories are spicy hot, with interesting characters and twisty little tales. The sex scenes are intensely written, with some being quite absorbing as well as arousing. This series is always interesting, and this book is no exception. A good choice when you want to read a good story and get turned on at the same time.
