Candida Royalle’s sequel to Eyes of Desire Part 1 represents a further stretch of the Femme Video Series into the mainstream adult video world. This story includes the director’s first anal penetration and group scenes. This story moves beyond the boundaries of any of her previous films. Good production values, and the resolution of the dilemma in the first video makes the movie an interesting one to watch. The sex scenes are quite spicy - a bit more like watching a mainstream video, but there is still the emotional difference that denotes a Femme Productions video. Lots of heat, a bit of dominance & submission, voyeurism...you’ll find a lot to arouse your senses as well as a strong plot to keep you watching (or coming back after a little...break).

”This is the most conventional and mainstream of Femme’s productions so far. Eyes of Desire 2 still distinguishes itself from mainstream adult fare, but gets closer than any other in the line. Framing and cutting are used to set the tone. The camera angles are selected to give a personal, almost voyeuristic touch. And while this film is more action than plot, the story does provide some twists and turns that depart from the expected formula.

”One of the most striking features of Part 2 is the degree to which the main character seems isolated. Unlike Part 1, she has no external support on-screen from her friend Amy, her agent, or her former lover. Instead, she only hears their voices on the phone questioning and demanding. This dramatically increases the sense of isolation and vulnerability which Lisa must overcome to find herself.

”Part 2 does not stand on its own without the extended introduction from the prequel. It is best to watch the two films sequentially.”
