This truly is a book of 2002 ideas--more really, when you get to the bulleted list--and embedded in them are some “romance rules” that are right on, as well as lots of quotations about love and romance. Now, the print is really tiny, so those of you who are in mid-life may need to get your glasses out, but this is chock-full of great information and suggestions. Some of the ideas are deeply romantic, and others are just fun and uplifting. Although there are some tips written specifically for men or women, the book is very good about not making any assumptions about the reader, and including lovers of all kinds.

This is a great book to give newlyweds, or as an anniversary gift. So much of what is in the book is exactly the advice that any couple needs to keep a strong connection, ride out the ups & downs, and feel like the relationship is exactly right. This book jumped to the top of our “must-have” list for couples of all ages & stages, and we highly recommend it.
